They operate globally, with offices across Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. They service and deliver a variety of projects, including warehouses, hospitals, data centers, and universities.
About the Role
This is a newly formed role due to the growth of their service division. This position will focus on building existing and new customer relationships across key areas of the business while providing guidance and support to employees. You will be supported by the National Service Manager located in Brisbane, who has played a significant role in the company's success and growth.
Key Responsibilities - Input into the ongoing development and enhancement of the Employer’s diagnostic and reporting software from both office and site perspectives.
- Development of service proposals, preparation of quotes, and ensuring previous proposals remain valid and up to date.
- Coordination of warranty claims and works with equipment manufacturers.
- Conducting site surveys of existing and new mechanical systems and compiling detailed reports.
- Engagement and management of subcontractors or additional labour as required to complete works.
- Maintaining and scheduling all service works within Sydney.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting advice to service technicians in Sydney when needed.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction in service delivery, efficiency, and pricing across Sydney.
- Assisting on-site with direct supervision and hands-on involvement in commercial air conditioning system installations, as required by senior management.
- Complying with company and client Welfare, Health & Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Ensuring efficient utilisation of operational resources for scheduling service work.
- Managing or assisting with site commissioning and defect rectification as required.
- Providing commissioning and programming support when needed.
About you - Trade qualification in - Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience within the HVAC/ R commissioning
- Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of products, systems, and market sectors within the industry
- Takes the ‘extra step’ to ensure customer satisfaction
- Current Drivers License
