About the business
Reputable Sydney-based Tier 2 contractor who have been in operation for over a decade. They have a long track record of delivering quality projects over the past 30 years within the commercial, Education, and healthcare sectors.

The company rarely hire externally, but due to a strong pipeline of work they are looking to add a fresh face to the minor works division.

About the role
You will be responsible to oversee and deliver their minor works projects of up to $750k. These projects are upgrade/replacement works, Office fit-outs, and commercial projects.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver projects on time, in budget and in scope
• Responsible for monitoring project budget
• Manage the relationship between the business and all external contractors engaged to conduct services
• Work closely with Project Team, on project progression and variations
• Identify risk within the project and communicate to appropriate parties
• Maintain and develop a healthy culture of learning and improvement amongst project teams

  About you

• Proven experience as a Project Manager - Ideally 3 Years under your belt 
• Knowledge of products, systems, and market sectors within industry
• Good relationship with suppliers and subcontractors 
• Takes the ‘extra step’ to ensure customer satisfaction
• A current driver’s license.
• Trade qualification in HVAC works
