A newly created role to support the commercial team, you'll be reporting to the head of construction in NSW, to support on commercial and contractual needs from a pre construction stage through to completion. The role would suit someone from a contracting back ground with sound knowledge of MEP.

About the role

Key Responsibilities
- Provide contractual support company wide
- Mentoring, management, training and guidance of project commercial team.
- Oversee project procurement and ensure maximum value for subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
- Follow up and manage client commercial meetings and drive commercial results.
- Oversee Project Procurement and maximise project margins
- Ensure compliance with all organisational, statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Commercial risk assessment and mitigation advice, plans and actions
- Manage and resolve disputes with Subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
- Close downstream contracts through final negotiations.
- Experience working within the construction contracting sector
- Proven experience as a Contacts Manager, Commercial Manager, Senior Contacts Administrator or Senior QS
- Sound knowledge of MEP
- Knowledge of products, systems, and market sectors within industry
- Ability to communicate well at all levels
- A current drivers’ license
