The company has track record of delivering some of the most significant projects that have been built over the past few years, which includes commercial, health, Data Centres, and infrastructure. 

About the role

A newly created role to support the commercial team, you'll be reporting to the head of construction in NSW, to support on commercial and contractual needs from a pre construction stage through to completion. The role would suit someone from a contracting back ground with sound knowledge of MEP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide contractual support company wide
  • Mentoring, management, training and guidance of project commercial team.
  • Oversee project procurement and ensure maximum value for subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
  • Follow up and manage client commercial meetings and drive commercial results.
  • Oversee Project Procurement and maximise project margins
  • Ensure compliance with all organisational, statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Commercial risk assessment and mitigation advice, plans and actions
  • Manage and resolve disputes with Subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
  • Close downstream contracts through final negotiations.
About you
  • Experience working within the construction contracting sector
  • Proven experience as a Contacts Manager, Commercial Manager, Senior Contacts Administrator or Senior QS
  • Sound knowledge of MEP
  • Knowledge of products, systems, and market sectors within industry 
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels
  • A current drivers’ license
